Nuclear Power

Can the devastation in Japan not be enough of an example of why we need to conserve and cut our energy use, and not consider nuclear an option?  Will we live to see the day when we can stop debating choices that ultimately amount to playing Russian Roulette with nature, and innocent species on the planet?
